How MojaAir handles personal data, what the booking demo keeps on your device, our use of cookies, and the rights you hold under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.

MojaAir is a proposed pan-African airline project. The website at mojaair.africa is published, sponsored and promoted by Briteque Ltd, which acts as the data controller for personal data processed through this site.
Controller: Briteque Ltd
Registered office: [registered office address to be inserted]
Company number: [company registration number to be inserted]
Data protection contact: info@briteque.ltd
This site is a demonstration of a proposed service. It contains no live reservation system, no account registration, no newsletter sign-up and no payment processing. Simply browsing the site gives us no personal data about you. We only receive personal data if you choose to email us, including the recruitment and media addresses covered in section 4.
If you email info@briteque.ltd, admin@mojaair.africa or media@mojaair.africa, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to you. Job applications and media enquiries are covered in more detail in section 4.
Like almost all websites, the hosting infrastructure that serves these pages may record standard technical request data such as IP address, timestamp, requested page and user agent. These logs exist for security and to keep the site running. We do not use them to build profiles, and we do not combine them with any other data about you.
The booking pages let you search routes, see fares and walk through a simulated reservation. This matters for your privacy: the demo runs entirely inside your own browser. Fares, routes and confirmations are generated on your device by JavaScript. Nothing you type into any field is transmitted to MojaAir, to Briteque Ltd or to any third party, and nothing is stored after you close or reload the page.
Two addresses on this site invite you to send us information directly. What you send is personal data, and this section explains what happens to it.
If you email admin@mojaair.africa to register your interest in working with MojaAir, we receive whatever you choose to send: typically your name, contact details, employment history, qualifications, licences and location. Please send only what is relevant to the work.
Please do not send special category data. We do not need your date of birth, photograph, health information, religion, political views or national identity number to consider an application, and we ask you not to include them.
If you email media@mojaair.africa, we receive your name, publication, contact details and the content of your enquiry. We use it only to respond to you and to keep a record of what was said to whom. Media correspondence is kept for up to 24 months.
Email the address you originally wrote to, or info@briteque.ltd, and ask us to delete your details. We will do so and confirm. You do not need to give a reason.
MojaAir sets no advertising, analytics or profiling cookies. At the time of writing this site loads no third-party scripts, no external fonts and no embedded media, so no other organisation can set a cookie through these pages.
When you answer the cookie banner, we save your choice in your browser's local storage under
the key mojaair.consent. It records which categories you allowed, the version of
this policy you were shown, and the date. Its only purpose is to avoid asking you again on
every page. This is strictly necessary for a function you requested, so it does not itself
require consent. It expires after twelve months.
The preference centre lists Analytics and Marketing categories. Both are switched off by default and nothing is currently placed in either. They exist so that your preference is already on record if MojaAir later introduces such tools. If that happens, no tag will load unless you have opted in.
Select Cookie Settings in the footer of any page at any time. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and carries no consequence for how the site works. You can also clear site data in your browser settings.
Our footer links to MojaAir profiles on X, Instagram and TikTok. These are ordinary links, not embeds, so those platforms receive no information about you unless you click through. Once you do, that platform's own privacy policy applies.
Where we do process personal data, we rely on the following bases under Article 6 GDPR:
We do not share personal data with third parties for their own purposes. We rely on service providers acting as processors on our instructions, principally our website hosting and email providers. Each is bound by a contract meeting Article 28 GDPR. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
MojaAir is an African aviation project with a UK sponsor, so data may be processed outside the country you are reading this from. Where personal data is transferred out of the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision where one exists, or otherwise on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You may request details of the safeguards applied.
Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have the right to:
To exercise any of these, email info@briteque.ltd. We will respond within one month. There is no charge, and we may ask you to confirm your identity before we release personal data.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In the United Kingdom this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). In the European Economic Area you may complain to the data protection authority of the country where you live or work.
This site is intended for adults planning travel and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
The site is served over HTTPS. Because the pages are static and the booking demo never transmits what you type, the amount of personal data exposed to any risk is deliberately kept close to zero. No online transmission can be guaranteed perfectly secure, which is a further reason not to enter real financial or identity details into the demo.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and raise the version number. Where a change affects cookies or the basis on which we process your data, the cookie banner will reappear so you can review your choice.
For any privacy or data protection matter, including requests to exercise your rights, contact info@briteque.ltd and mark your message “Data Protection”.
